Our monthly website support plans give you peace of mind. Every month, we are here to keep your website updated, keep up with its uptime and security, perform regular tune-ups related to performance, and be available to provide edits to your site’s content or fix issues that may arise from time to time.

We also have additional web design and consulting services available, as needed. Please contact us if something comes up outside your normal support hours. We will gladly provide a quote when those needs arise. Please note that, due to our interest in developing long-term clients, we only work with clients who are on a Website Maintenance Support plan.

Does the monthly time roll over?

Similar to a lawyer’s retainer, your monthly support time is there for you every month to reserve your place in our queue and our resources; therefore, it does not roll over. You can take comfort in the fact that what you request within your allotted minutes of time a month (depending on your plan) will be promptly addressed by our team.

What if I need more hours?

If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly support time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. We will also routinely evaluate requests that exceed your monthly support time on a case-by-case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for the time exceeded at our current support rate.

Can I really cancel any time?

Yes … because it is extremely important to us to build relationships with you. Even though we would hate to see you go, we realize that financial concerns are vital to these types of decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. You may request a cancellation via email to info@spotonwebsites.com, and we will immediately stop the next payment.

What is included in the monthly support time?

We’re glad you asked! Requests to update content (rates, prices, descriptions, product improvements, etc) and small design improvements are the most common requests. However, anything that can fit into your monthly support time is fair game. Please note that requests for new features to your website involving installing a new plugin or a full or significant design changes will likely result in a formal quote as those commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

The whole purpose of our monthly support plans is preventive care, so we hope to greatly reduce the odds that anything would happen. However, should your website experience on of these issues, we will be there right by its side communicating with the web host on your behalf. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked, but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.

What is a strategy call?

Email is our best form of communication since it yields the fastest response. However, we know brainstorming works best on the phone or possibly a video call, where we can focus in on options for growth and improvement to your website. This time can also be used for online screen-share small updates or possibly, training.

SpotOn WebSites did not create my site. Can I still be on a plan?

Although these plans are for sites we build or re-design, we welcome clients who are looking for a long-term relationship with a dedicated WordPress webmaster.

We will initially perform a Website Evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential issues that can arise. With the evaluation, we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup. Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly plan. Based on your type of website, this Website Evaluation is a fixed fee.
